What works? Impact of pastoral development interventions in Ethiopia

An overview of impact assessment and reviews made of pastoral development interventions in Ethiopia has been compiled by Feinstein International Center, Tufts University. It was commissioned by the Pastoralist Livelihoods Initiative (PLI) and looks at assessments made in the period 2000-04 (before PLI started) and impact assessments and reviews made under PLI from 2006 onwards. The key findings are highlighted and links to the reports are provided. In the words of John Graham (USAID Ethiopia), who sent this information to post on the CELEP website, it is “hard hitting stuff – including what doesn’t work as well as what does”!!
