Pastoral land in southern Ethiopa up for grabs

The Ethiopian Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development commissioned a survey of the “best investment opportunity“ in South Omo in the Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples (SNNP) Region. All four districts surveyed are (agro-)pastoral areas. Maps and a very brief description of the investment areas can be found here: South Omo Investment Area. The date of this document is not clear.
