The Maasai International Solidarity Alliance (MISA) – of which CELEP is a member – issues a newsletter to provide updates on what is happening to Maasai communities in the Ngorongoro and Loliondo areas and in other parts of northern Tanzania. These are areas from which the Maasai have been or are being ousted by the Tanzanian Government for “development” of wildlife conservation, hunting and tourism. The newsletter brings background information and news about community actions and legal progress, as reported by Maasai members of MISA in northern Tanzania.
The first two issues of the newsletter were published in September 2023; one appeared at the beginning of September in English and German and the second in late September in English and French. All subsequent issues are in English only.

The 4th issue covered developments in November & December 2023.
The 5th issue covered developments in January & February 2024.
