CELEP/VSF: Brief look at advocacy & pastoralism

The 11-page document “A brief look at pastoralism and advocacy” provides arguments for the further development of an advocacy strategy on pastoralism by CELEP and Vétérinaires Sans Frontières International. It gives the rationale for developing advocacy activities on pastoralism and outlines possible targets and strategies to influence policies affecting pastoralists in Africa. It is based on a draft document prepared by Koen Van Troos in 2000, when he was the CELEP Focal Point at VSF Belgium, and further developed in 2022 by Peter van der Jagt from VSFB.
