CELEP Update July 2017

The CELEP update for July 2017 reports on past, ongoing and planned activities of the CELEP Focal Point at VSF–Belgium and the Regional Focal Point at RECONCILE in Kenya. This 6-page issue includes, among other things, information about the linkage between CELEP and the newly formed Eastern and Southern African Pastoralists Network (ESAPN), CELEP’s lobbying activities at the European Commission and the European Parliament, latest information about the International Year on Rangelands and Pastoralists (IYRP) from the CELEP member in the IYRP Steering Committee, and plans for the CELEP Annual General Meeting on 7–10 November 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.
