CELEP update 2023-24

In the introductory session to the CELEP online meeting for strategy planning on 8 May 2024, Ann Waters-Bayer from Agrecol Association for AgriCulture & Ecology (Germany) and Ced Hesse from the International Institute for Environment and Development (UK) gave a brief update on CELEP activities in Europe from January 2023 to May 2024.

CELEP is managed by an elected European Focal Point, currently at VSF-Belgium, an Eastern African Focal Point, currently at RECONCILE, Kenya, and a Core Group. The 2022-2023 Core Group is composed of the European members Agrecol Association (Germany), International Institute for Environment and Development (UK) and VSF-Belgium; the Eastern African partners DADO Uganda, Pastoralist Forum Ethiopia, PENHA Somali and RECONCILE Kenya; and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
